Waller Delta

The outdoor, interactive art installation Hurlyburly (2016), by internationally renowned artist Orly Genger, is open daily at the Waller Delta, adjacent to the Waller Creek Boathouse (74 Trinity). Created using repurposed lobster rope, Hurlyburly is a massive outdoor piece of painted and hand-knotted rope.

Give 5 to Mother Earth is an annual campaign encouraging Austinites to celebrate Earth Day by raising funds and awareness for nine non-profits working to protect and preserve our Central Texas environment, including Waller Creek Conservancy!

Creek Show 2017

Creek Show 2017 returns in November for ten nights of free light-based art installations along Waller Creek. Stroll along the creek, between 5th and 8th Streets, while taking in five new illuminating works of light-based art. This free event will captivate visitors through visionary art that illustrates the intersection of natural environment, innovative design, and urban life.
