Waller Creek Conservancy is proud to present New Monuments for New Cities, the inaugural joint art initiative of the High Line Network. The exhibition will feature 25 site-specific artworks set within five urban reuse projects across the United States and Canada. The public art exhibition takes an important look at the role monuments have played in shaping cities and how they successfully speak to or, in some cases, misrepresent the people who live there.
The exhibition will be on view at Waller Creek (12th & Red River) from March 2 through May 31, 2019. Waller Creek Conservancy will host a variety of free public programs in conjunction with the exhibition.
All events and programs are FREE and open to the public and will take place at Symphony Square (1111 Red River Street). Check out our upcoming programs!
